There’s something quietly powerful about standing behind the camera at @rd_jrangel and @travisphooper’s Four Seasons Hualalai wedding. The Palm Grove Lawn, the gentle ocean breeze, a community gathered in celebration.
Travis said something that stuck with me: “As two gay men who have been welcomed and encouraged to get married, we stand on the shoulders of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and trans activists who have fought for our freedom to marry.”
It was a simple, honest acknowledgment that made the day feel connected to something larger. Not just a wedding, but a moment made possible by decades of courage.
