Kaiti & Cameron met in high school when he asked her out to homecoming. She said yes and they’ve been sweethearts ever since.

This continued all day and all night as we sailed into the sunset on Pride of Maui out of Maalaea Harbor. A great group of people along with a wonderfully genuine couple made this one for the ages.

“I had no interest in being just your friend.” Victoria said during her vows to Colin. Everything seen through our monitors at this epic Four Seasons Resort Maui wedding was imbued with this ethos.

The moment we walked into the bridal suite and met Cara, we knew we were going to get beautiful and emotive looks with both her and Paul.

He said, “Standing on the grounds that my papa “Sonny” used to herd cattle, where my dad was raised and learned how to be a paniolo of his own, the mountains I would hunt as a young kid and the ocean where I spent most of my time surfing, diving and fishing… all that mana and beauty would not be complete without you in the center.”

A stunning wedding and reception on the ocean front lawn at the gorgeous Four Seasons Resort Maui set the stage for this incredible day with Geena & Trevor.

most wedding filmmakers shy away from conflict or even the idea of conflict, but we as filmmakers first, completely embrace it. Yes a wedding day is largely a joyous occasion, however, if the couple or family share the realness of life, the pain of life, the challenges, ups and downs, then — if the couple is OK with it — we will feature it like any good blockbuster move MUST.

“We absolutely are obsessed with ‘The Dark Knight’. You think you can create something in that vein, Stephan?” asked the groom on our discovery call.

Hikaru and Christopher got married at Kukahiko Estate in Makena, followed by a magical reception at Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea.

Divna (from Macedonia) and Kerem (from Turkey) have been together for eight years. When most couples by then would have moved into a less “lovey-dovey”  or “butterflies in your tummy” stage of their relationship, these two seemed to have preserved the moments reserved for young love affairs.

Esther and Bernard consulted with us a year in advance of their wedding. They came to the zoom meeting ready to pepper me with questions about how we would go about taking care to tell their story in a way that was bespoke to them.

Something in our work resonated with Melissa as she and Jason put a retainer down on their date 14 months in advance of their wedding date.

Lisa and Noel wanted to explore Maui all the while telling the story of how they met and became an item. Shot over 2 days, this is their tale.

It was a stunning example of what we love about this work: telling stories of people who are able to face hardship and loss, and yet let it compel them to love even more.

Indeed, they stand on the shoulders of giants and understanding the responsibility they have to the rest of humanity, they love each other fully.

“Dude… we’re getting married and you’re shooting our wedding in Mexico. Comprende?”

Hi Stephan: Thank you so much! I watch both the film and the shorter one and was CRYING! You did a such an amazing job and could not have asked for more.

When we get to shoot a proposal in Hawaii and full wedding at the couple’s home, we don’t hesitate. It is a wonderful opportunity to see people in their own element as opposed to just at a destination wedding location like Hawaii.

The way this couple met is not something I encounter much anymore in this day and age of internet and dating apps. Without giving too much away, let’s just say that Konnie knows what she wants and doesn’t mess around. This film was delivered in stunning 4K!
