Because the getting ready took place in Lahaina before the fires, these frames hold a specific, preserved beauty. We aren’t just filming a wedding; indeed, we are documenting a place and a time that shaped who these people are.
The Olowalu Plantation House provides the perfect sanctuary for this kind of depth. It is a venue that demands presence. Our philosophy is to capture the “misnotice” moments—the small, random laughs and the tea ceremonies that ground the day in tradition. We focus on the loyalty and the loyalty of a heart that beats to the same rhythm as another. By systemizing the technical, we allow the raw, unscripted truth of the day to take center stage.
